Ciao! To start the 2025 with a jump, here I am to share some Italian and have fun describing what Italy and being an Italian is all about. I am excited to have you here, hope you enjoy it, thank you! Grazie mille!

My name is Fabi was born and grew up in the North of Italy, not far from the border with Austria, waking up every day to the most amazing view of the Alps and the nature around me.

That beautiful area of Italy is close to Lago di Garda, the biggest Italian lake and very popular tourist destination, where you can sail, relax and taste the most delicious ice cream you can imagine.

If you are a keen hiker, you can not miss to explore the Dolomites with their spectacular views at every season.

One of the most stunning places to have a hike Val di Fumo, a glacial valley, U shaped known for its incredible beauty and flowers. Nested at the bottom of majestic mountains, this large and flat valley is a perfect place for a family day out in the nature with kids.

You can easily drive up to the trail, park your car and start walking. You can stop at a cosy "rifugio" ( Italian word for a restaurant in high mountains) and have some local sourced food, like some "polenta con funghi e capriolo" ( corn meal with wild mushroom and deer) and "strudel" as pudding ( type of apple cake)
